Common use of Prevailing wages and labor compliance Clause in Contracts

Prevailing wages and labor compliance. If applicable, the Grantee agrees to be bound by all the provisions of the Labor Code regarding prevailing wages and shall monitor all contracts subject to reimbursement from this Agreement to assure that the prevailing wage provisions of the Labor Code are being met. The Grantee certifies that it has a Labor Compliance Program (LCP) in place or has contracted with a third party that has been approved by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to operate an LCP pursuant to: Public Resources Code, section 75075; Labor Code, sections 1771.3(c) and 1771.5; and, section 16423 of title 8 of the California Code of Regulations.
