Printed Circuit Board Clause Samples

The 'Printed Circuit Board' clause defines the requirements and specifications related to the design, manufacture, or supply of printed circuit boards (PCBs) within an agreement. It typically outlines standards for materials, quality control, testing procedures, and delivery timelines that the supplier must adhere to when providing PCBs. For example, it may require compliance with industry standards such as IPC or specify acceptable tolerances and inspection protocols. This clause ensures that all parties have a clear understanding of the expectations for PCB quality and performance, thereby reducing the risk of disputes and ensuring reliable product integration.
Printed Circuit Board. 6.3.2.1 All physical dimensions and tolerances must be achieved as specified in the appropriate fabrication/assembly drawings. 6.3.2.2 All specified on-board discrete components (capacitors, resistors, EPROMs, etc.) must be present and functional as specified in the appropriate assembly drawings. 6.3.2.3 Each SIU must have securely (or permanently) and legibly marked upon it an alpha-numeric identifier which is unique to that SIU. This identifier must be included on all documentation delivered with the SIU. This identifier is for Intel tracking, and does not replace supplier's existing process specific serialization, if any. Alpha- numeric identifier must conform to Intel requirements as defined by Intel purchase order.
Printed Circuit Board. The example le gpexamp copper.inp shown in Figure 5 is a portion of a printed circuit board from Digital Equipment Corporation. This structure is to be placed underneath a PGA package. This geometry includes 2 reference planes sandwiching a large number of copper lines which lead to the center where the package would be placed. The set of copper lines are grouped into 18 groups according to functionality (see the many .equiv statements at the bottom of the le).
