Prior Credit. An employee who has prior service with the State of Ohio or any political subdivision thereof shall be given credit for any earned but unused sick leave balances as a result of such prior public employment upon verification of such balances to the Employer, except that deduction shall be made for any payment or credit given by the previous Employer in lieu of taking sick leave.
