Common use of Prior Department Approval Clause in Contracts

Prior Department Approval. The Fraud and Abuse policies and procedures must be submitted to the Department for prior approval, and the Department may, upon review of these policies and procedures, require that specified changes be made within a designated time in order for the PH-MCO to remain in compliance with the terms of the Agreement. To the extent that changes to the Fraud and Abuse unit are made, or the policies or procedures are altered, updated policies and procedures must be submitted promptly to the Department. The Department may also require new or updated policies and procedures during the course of the Agreement period.
