Common use of Prior to Completion of Year Clause in Contracts

Prior to Completion of Year. Teachers separating from employment prior to the completion of the school year or who are on an unpaid leave of absence of more than 30 days will be entitled to group insurance on a pro-rata basis. For the purpose of this provision, teachers on a leave of absence pursuant to the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of up to 12 weeks shall be considered as time worked.
