Common use of Priorities in Hiring Clause in Contracts

Priorities in Hiring. First consideration will be given to applicants from the Unit in which the position is open and to employees on the recall list. Second consideration will be given to other applicants from the Union. If the position cannot be filled in the aforesaid manner, applicants from the outside may be considered.
