Common use of Private Space Clause in Contracts

Private Space. ‌ The Employer will allow shop stewards to use a private space, with no audio/video recording or surveillance monitoring devices to meet with employees with respect to the investigation and preparation of grievances as set out in the grievance procedure of this collective agreement. No union business is to be conducted in the front of house or in front of any guests or stakeholders at any time.

Private Space. ‌ The Employer will allow provide shop stewards to use with a private space, with no audio/video recording or surveillance monitoring devices space to meet with employees with respect to the investigation and preparation of grievances as set out in the grievance Grievance procedure of this collective agreement. No union business is to be conducted in the front of house or in front of any guests or stakeholders at any time. The Employer will maintain the space and provide cleaning when requested, within reason, as long as a bargaining unit employee is present. Maintenance and security will be provided when requested.
