PROCEDURES FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF AN EMPLOYMENT. RELATIONSHIP PROBLEM 1 The Employment Relations Act 2000 provides effective means for employees to bring relationship problems to the attention of management. A formal employment relationship problem resolution process has been established for the benefit and use of employees. At any stage, you are entitled to have a representative working on your behalf. The evaluations of school year employees covered by this agreement shall be completed no later than May 30 of each school year for 9-month employees and by June 30 for 10/12-month employees. An employee may present written comments, which shall be attached to the written evaluation document. The evaluator and employee shall sign the evaluation document.   • Dispute Settling Procedures (1) The principles of conciliation and direct negotiation shall be adopted for the purpose of prevention and settlement of any questions, disputes or difficulties that may arise in the operation of this Agreement.

  • Resolving an Employment Relationship Problem The employee and employer should first make a reasonable effort to discuss the problem and settle it by mutual agreement. (If it’s a personal grievance, it must first be raised with the employer within 90 days - Personal Grievances are explained further below).
