Common use of PRODUCT SUBSTITUTES Clause in Contracts

PRODUCT SUBSTITUTES. In the event a particular awarded and approved manufacturer's product becomes unavailable during the term of the Contract, the Contractor awarded that item may arrange with the City’s authorized representative(s) to supply a substitute product at the awarded price or lower, provided that a sample is approved in advance of delivery and that the new product meets or exceeds all quality requirements.
