Common use of PRODUCT & SYSTEM TESTING Clause in Contracts

PRODUCT & SYSTEM TESTING. (a) If included in the Contract, Supplier will carry out a factory acceptance test (FAT) at Supplier’s premises before delivery of the Products. The purpose of the FAT is to verify that the Products are capable of complying with the Specification or other criteria agreed in the (i) Supplier shall give Customer written notice of the time and place of the FAT no later than 2 weeks prior to the scheduled FAT date. If Customer decides to attend the FAT, Customer shall notify Supplier in writing of the number, names and positions of representatives attending together with any information reasonably required by Supplier. Such notification shall be given no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled FAT date. Travel and accommodation costs and other expenses shall be the responsibility of Customer. Any failure by Customer to attend a scheduled FAT shall not prevent Supplier from performing the FAT as planned.
