Common use of PRODUCTION STANDARDS Clause in Contracts

PRODUCTION STANDARDS. 27.01 When the Company establishes work standards, it will do so on the basis of fairness and equity consistent with quality of workmanship, and the reasonable working capacities of a normal experienced employee working at a normal pace to produce quality work in a manner that the Company prescribes. When a standard is not established and the employee believes that a normal experienced employee working at a normal pace cannot perform the work required, the employee may take the matter up with the supervisor and/or their Committee Person. Upon written request, the Company shall evaluate the job and establish a work standard within fifteen (15) working days of receiving notice. Should the matter remain unresolved, a grievance may be submitted in writing.
