Transfers Outside of Bargaining Unit. If any associate on the seniority list, covered by this agreement, is temporarily transferred or appointed to a position outside of the bargaining unit by the Company for a period of thirty (30) days or less, and then is transferred back to a position which is covered by this agreement, the associate will return to their shift and classification. If this period exceeds thirty (30) days, but not greater than sixty (60) days, the returning associate will have no right to their previous job or shift. Seniority will not accrue for associates temporarily transferred from the bargaining unit.

Transfers Outside of Bargaining Unit. Any employee who has been promoted or transferred from the bargaining unit, and who is determined to be unable to perform the job duties in a satisfactory manner due to illness or other reasons may, at the sole discretion of the Company, be returned to a bargaining unit job without such job being subject to a job posting procedure.
Transfers Outside of Bargaining Unit. No Employee shall be transferred to a position outside the Bargaining Unit without the Employee's consent. Promotions to a position outside the Bargaining Unit shall be probationary for a period of six (6) months during which time the Employee or the Employer may decide to revert the Employee to their former position without loss of Seniority. It is understood that after the six (6) month period, the Employee will lose his/her seniority within the Bargaining unit. The above applies only to permanent appointments. Acting appointments do not apply.

However, if any employee on a seniority list, covered by this agreement, is temporarilytransferred or appointed to a non-supervisory position outside of the bargaining unit by the Company, and then is transferred back to a position which is covered by this agreement, the employee will return only with the seniority earned while in the bargaining unit. The returning employee has no rights to their previous job or shift. For every employee temporarily transferred out of the bargaining unit, the Company agrees to recall or hire an employee for an equal period of time as the transferring employee.
Transfers Outside of Bargaining Unit. Any employee who leaves the Bargaining Unit to perform a job outside the Bargaining Unit shall have the right to return to the Bargaining Unit within six (6) months from leaving the Bargaining Unit and shall be credited with all seniority for the duration of the absence. Employees who have left the Bargaining Unit in excess of six (6) consecutive months to perform a permanent job outside the Bargaining Unit and thereafter returns to the Bargaining Unit shall be credited with seniority for time spent in the Bargaining Unit only.

Transfers Outside of Bargaining Unit. .01 An employee who voluntarily accepts a promotion or transfer to a position outside the scope of this Agreement shall maintain and continue to accumulate seniority for a period of six (6) months for the purpose of transferring back into the bargaining unit. During such period, the employee shall maintain his/her membership in the Union by submitting the current weekly dues. .02 If an employee returns to the bargaining unit, either by the Company’s choice or his/her own choice, he/she may return to his/her posted job within the first 3 months or to an open job in the bargaining unit between the 4th and 6th month, while not disturbing any posted employee unless to avoid a lay-off.

Transfers Outside of Bargaining Unit. 5.12 No employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without his/her consent. If an employee is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit, he/she shall retain his seniority accumulated up to the date of leaving the unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. Employees have the right to return or be returned to a position in the bargaining unit within six (6) months. Such return shall not result in the layoff or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.

However, if any employee, covered by the 1990 Collective Agreement, was transferred or appointed to a position outside of the bargaining unit and later was transferred back to a position which is covered by this agreement, he returned with the seniority he earned while in the bargaining unit.
