PROFESSIONAL TEACHING STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES. Teachers are expected to adhere to policies, rules, and regulations as established by the administration and the Board as well as those included in the negotiated agreement as outlined below: A. Follow the curriculum as outlined and adopted. B. Attend all teachers’ meetings on local, county and district levels for which the Board has provided released time. C. Arrange for make-up work and a time for such work when pupils have been absent for an excusable reason. D. Participate in parent-teacher conferences in order to promote better community and pupil understanding. E. Secure approval of principal for use of supplementary texts on a classroom basis.
