Professional Transfer Policy. 1. The superintendent shall post in all schools, in the office and on the website, a list of all existing school vacancies within five (5) calendar days prior to being advertised to outside candidates. 2. A certified teacher who desires a transfer to the positions available should submit a written request to the superintendent of schools. 3. Criteria for approval of a certified teacher transfer request will be made upon the best interests of the school district as determined by the superintendent. Overall district seniority will be considered.
