Common use of Progress and Time of Completion Clause in Contracts

Progress and Time of Completion. Subject to weather and/or safe navigation circumstances and/or delays receiving required permits, the field work under this Contract shall be commenced within twenty-one (21) consecutive calendar days from the date of the written notice to proceed. Once the actual field work is started, subject to weather and/or safe navigation circumstances, it shall be prosecuted continuously to completion within Five (5) business days. If the quantities stated in the proposal are increased, as hereinafter provided, the number of calendar days allowed for completion will be similarly increased. This increase will be in the same proportion as the increase in the total payments to the Contractor above the amount of the executed Contract.
