Common use of Promise of Accommodation Clause in Contracts

Promise of Accommodation. Any promise given by the University to allocate Accommodation to you, and your eligibility to live on campus, is always subject to the condition that the University is able to provide a safe living environment within the Accommodation in accordance with any applicable laws and Government guidance, and the Code of Practice, and the University reserves the right to rescind any promise of Accommodation in the following circumstances: you fail to meet any application or acceptance deadlines or conditions; you owe outstanding fees or have a poor payment history with the University; you have an adverse disciplinary record; you fail to move in to the Accommodation within two weeks of the start of the Period of Residence; you fail to progress academically; or if this Agreement is terminated for any reason.
