Promotional Qualification. To be admitted to promotional examination for Deputy Sheriff III or Deputy Sheriff IV, the applicant must have attained Deputy Sheriff II status as of the application deadline date unless three (3) or fewer Deputy Sheriff II's apply in which case Deputy Sheriff I status may be accepted.
