Common use of Proof of Claim Clause in Contracts

Proof of Claim. In the event of any Proceeding, the Trustee may (and, if applicable, the trustee for or holders of Senior Debt may) file a claim for the unpaid balance of the Debentures in the form required in the Proceeding and cause the claim to be approved or allowed. Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to authorize the Trustee or the holders of Senior Debt to authorize or consent to or accept or adopt on behalf of any Holder any plan of reorganization, arrangement, adjustment, or composition affecting the Debentures or the rights of any Holder thereof, or to authorize the Trustee or the holders of Senior Debt to vote in respect of the claim of any Holder in any Proceeding.
