Common use of Proportional Payments Clause in Contracts

Proportional Payments. Payments shall be made to A/E monthly upon submission of an Invoice as set forth in Section 4.1.2 below. Payments shall be made in proportion to the services performed so that the Compensation for Basic Services shall not exceed the following cumulative percentages at the completion and acceptance of each phase: Pre-Design Five percent 5% Schematic Design Twenty percent 20% Design Development Forty-five percent 45% Construction Documents Seventy-five percent 75% Bidding/Award Eighty-percent 80% Construction Administration One hundred percent 100% Rule of thumb percentages. Percentages to be negotiated for each contract.
