Protection and management of the environment. 9. (1) The Company shall in respect of the matters referred to in paragraph (h) of subclause (1) of Clause 5 and which are the subject of approved proposals under this Agreement, carry out a continuous Schedule 1 programme of investigation and research including monitoring and the study of sample areas to ascertain the effectiveness of the measures it is taking pursuant to such approved proposals for rehabilitation and the protection and management of the environment.
