Common use of Protection of the Fauna Clause in Contracts

Protection of the Fauna. The Contractor shall protect fauna living within the Site and shall ensure that hunting, snaring, poisoning, shooting, nest raiding or egg collecting and disturbance does not occur. The Contractor is to ensure that his employees are instructed not to feed wild animals. The use of pesticides is prohibited unless accepted by the Service Manager. No domestic pets or livestock are permitted on site.
