The BCTF recognizes BCPSEA as the accredited bargaining agent for every school board in British Columbia. BCPSEA has the exclusive authority to bargain collectively for the school boards and to bind the school boards by collective agreement in accordance with Section 2 of Schedule 2 of PELRA.

RECOGNITION OF THE UNION. The School Board does hereby recognize the Union as the sole collective bargaining representative for the duration of this Agreement for all Health Service Personnel with respect to wages, hours and working conditions, excluding supervisors and all other employees not named herein.
