Common use of Provincial Legislation Clause in Contracts

Provincial Legislation. 12.1 The Service Provider acknowledges that the County is subject to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c M.56 and that information provided to or from the County in connection with this Agreement may be subject to the provisions of these acts and other applicable law. 12.2 Without limiting anything else in this Agreement, the Service Provider hereby covenants and agrees that it shall comply with all duties and obligations as set out in all applicable laws and which arise from the Municipal Freedom of Information and the Privacy, as amended from time to time, and shall make all reasonable efforts to assist the County in complying with the County’s duties and obligations as set out in and which arise from these Acts and any other applicable law as it may relate to this Agreement as well as the Services and the Deliverables provided hereunder.
