Common use of Provision for Promotion Clause in Contracts

Provision for Promotion. In cases of promotion requiring higher qualifications or certification the Board shall give consideration to employees who do not possess the required qualifications but are already in the process of qualifying prior to the posting date. Such employees will be given an opportunity to qualify or revert to their former positions if the required qualifications are not met.
