Common use of PUBLIC COUNSEL Clause in Contracts

PUBLIC COUNSEL. In the event Grantee provides health and human services to individuals on behalf of DHHS under the terms of this award, Grantee shall submit to the jurisdiction of the Public Counsel under NEB. REV. STAT. §§ 81-8,240 through 81-8,254 with respect to the provision of services under this grant. This clause shall not apply to subawards between DHHS and long-term care facilities subject to the jurisdiction of the state long-term care ombudsman pursuant to the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Act.
