Public Holidays – Nominations by the Union. Where 1 January or 26 December falls on a Saturday and the relevant government declares a substitute day, the Union may, by giving UK Theatre not less than 26 weeks’ prior written notice, nominate 1 January or 26 December (as the case may be) or the substitute day as the Public Holiday for the purposes of this Agreement.
