Public Holiday. 6.1 The Worker will be entitled to public holidays in accordance with the labour laws in Malaysia.
6.2 In the event the Worker is requested to work on a public holiday, the Worker shall be paid in accordance with the labour laws in Malaysia.
Public Holiday. If and when an employee is required to work on any public holiday, he shall be paid an additional day's pay for the actual contractual hours of work on that day even though the work required of the employee on that day is less than the contractual hours of work. If the work is in excess of the contractual hours on that day, then the payment shall be at a rate of one and a half times for the number of hours worked in excess of the contractual hours.
Public Holiday. A public holiday falling within a period of annual leave shall not be regarded as part of that leave.
Public Holiday full-time and part-time team members – 250%, casual team members – 250%
Public Holiday. Overtime on a Public Holiday will be paid at time and a half during standard hours and double time and a half outside of standard hours (as defined in Clause 26).
Public Holiday. Subject to the provisions of the Employment Act -
(1) every employee shall be entitled to all gazetted public holidays with pay;
(2) any substitution of a public holiday for another day shall be by agreement between the Company and the employee;
(3) If any of the days specified in the list of gazetted public holidays should fall on a rest day, the working day following immediately thereafter shall be a paid holiday substitution therefore;
(4) for work perform on a gazetted public holiday (being not more than eight hours’ work) an employee shall be paid as follows:
(a) An extra day’s pay at the basic rate of pay in addition to the gross rate of pay for that day.
(b) For work in excess of eight hours, the rate of pay shall be
Public Holiday. 13.01 Each employee who is not required to work on any of the following days shall receive public holiday pay (as defined by the Employment Standards Act, 2000) at his regular straight time hourly rate for the celebration of the holidays listed hereunder, provided the employee works their complete shift on both the last and first scheduled day immediately before and after the holiday respectively; New Year's Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Victoria Day Day Christmas Canada Day Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday Family Day
13.02 Service to the public is essential. Therefore, it will be necessary that a sufficient number of the employees work on the holidays set out above. If an employee wishes to receive a substitute holiday off in lieu of the public holiday, such request will be made in writing to the Supervisor a minimum of five (5) days before the public holiday and is subject to approval. If approved, the day will be scheduled within thirty (30) days following the public holiday.
13.03 Employees required to work on any of the paid holidays shall be compensated at the rate of time and one half (1 ½ ) their regular straight time hourly rate for the hours they work on the holiday.
13.04 Should any paid holiday occur during an employee's annual vacation, said vacation shall be extended an amount equal to the number of holidays occurring during the vacation and the employee shall receive his holiday pay.
13.05 In no event will an employee who has been laid off for lack of work, receive payment for any holiday which occurs during the period of lay off.
13.06 In no event will an employee who is absent on one or both of the qualifying days referred to in Article 13.01 receive payment for the holiday.
Public Holiday. 9.1 An Employee other than a Casual Employee is entitled to the following public holidays without loss of pay:
Public Holiday. All hours Double time
Public Holiday. All overtime worked shall be paid for at the rate of double time and one-half. No additional time will be added to an Employee’s annual leave for the public holiday on which the Employee is required to be on call.
