Common use of PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PUBLICITY Clause in Contracts

PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PUBLICITY. 27.1. The Consultant acknowledges that certain information pertaining to the performance and rendering of the Services by the Consultant to PRASA in terms of this Agreement is required to be disclosed in accordance with the statutory reporting obligations of PRASA as it may be required to publish from time to time in response to enquiries from: 27.1.1. Parliament and its members and officers in accordance with the provisions of the Public Finance Management Act, Act 1 of 1999; and 27.1.2. the Auditor-General under the Public Audit Act, Act 25 of 2004; and 27.1.3. persons acting in the public interest in accordance with the provisions of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, Act 2 of 2000. 27.2. Subject to clause 27.1 neither Party shall communicate with representatives of the press, television, radio or other communications media on any matter concerning this Agreement without the prior approval of the other Party, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld.
