Common use of Pupil Assistance Clause in Contracts

Pupil Assistance. Each teacher shall remain on the school premises for an average of 60 minutes per week, and be available for the purpose of assisting pupils and for conferring with parents. A schedule shall be agreed upon at the building level between staff and the building principal. If the Superintendent specifies that a teacher is not making herself or himself available for additional help to students, the teacher may be required to remain 60 minutes per week as specified by the Superintendent.
