Purpose and Definition. The purpose of integrating exceptional students into regular classes is to provide a positive educational experience for both the exceptional students and the other students in the class. The placement of an exceptional student shall be determined by the curricula, all students educational needs and the ability of the Board to meet the requirements of the curricula and service the students’ needs.
