Qualification for Vacation Pay - Regular. Job Rate Method a) i) In order for an employee to qualify for the amount generated by the hours times the regular job rate method, the employee must have worked a minimum of fifteen hundred (1500) hours in the employee’s first year of service and a minimum of one thousand (1000) hours during the employee’s succeeding years of entitlement.
