Common use of Qualifying Examinations Clause in Contracts

Qualifying Examinations. At the discretion of the Commission, noncompetitive qualifying examinations may be given to an incumbent with tenure in a position which is upgraded as a result of reclassification or reallocation. An incumbent who qualifies in such examination shall be certified by the Commission as eligible to fill the upgraded position subject to serving the probationary period required for the class to which the position has been reallocated.
