Common use of Quality Assurance Data Clause in Contracts

Quality Assurance Data. Contractor agrees to make available internal quality assurance reports periodically to the State, as the State may specify. Contractor also agrees to perform medical record abstracts in selected quality assurance areas, at a minimum of one (1) such area related to members in any contract year as specified by the State, for use in external quality review. The precise methodology for these abstracts will be provided to the Contractor by the State. Contractor agrees to work cooperatively with the State in implementing this methodology. Contractor shall provide the results of any quality improvement studies/projects and Medicaid HEDIS® and CAHPS® results within thirty (30) days of their presentation to Contractor’s Quality Improvement Committee.
