Quantity and Frequency of Edging of Asphalt Paved Roadways. The edging of asphalt paved roadway edges that do not have curb will be performed on an as-needed basis as ordered by the County’s Representative for specific roadways. A map or list of the roadways will be provided and a written delivery order will be issued to the Contractor each time there is a need for asphalt paved roadway edging. The cost of the edging of asphalt paved roadway edges will be included in the “Edging of asphalt paved roadways (feet)” bid item. For bidding purposes only, six (6) cycles have been estimated for edging of specified asphalt paved roadways annually.
