Range Adjustment a. The salary range minimum and maximum shall be adjusted by the percentage increase indicated.
b. Each employee within the salary range shall receive the percentage increase indicated.
c. Employees whose pay exceeds the salary range maximum are not eligible for an increase.
Range Adjustment. Effective the pay period that includes January 1, 2018, a new Step F at 2.5% above Step E will be added for Lifeguard I. Effective the pay period that includes January 1, 2018, a new Step D at 2.5% above Step C will be added for Lifeguard II and III.
Range Adjustment. A range adjustment increasing the minimum and maximum of the range will be applied each year based on the July 11, 2016 base payrates. The range adjustments will be the following: 07/10/2017 1.8% of July 11, 2016 base pay 07/09/2018 2.5% of July 11, 2016 base pay 07/08/2019 2.8% of July 11, 2016 base pay The range adjustment will be applied after the COLA each year. Employees who will be under the minimum base pay amount due to the range adjustment, will receive an increase to their base pay to the minimum as outlined in Section 2 Article B subsection 7. Employees who are currently paid at the maximum of the range will be eligible for an increase as part of the merit review process as outlined in Section 2 Article B subsection 8.
Range Adjustment. For Battalion Chiefs only. A range adjustment increasing the minimum and maximum of the range will be applied on the following schedule: 01/08/2018 1.2% of January 9, 2017, base pay 01/07/2019 1.7% of January 9, 2017, base pay 01/06/2020 2.0% of January 9, 2017, base pay

Range Adjustment. A. Fire Battalion Chief 1. Effective in the pay period which includes July 1, 2023 (pay period 15), the three-step salary range for Fire Battalion Chief will be changed to a salary range by moving the bottom of the range to the existing mid-point of the salary range for Fire Battalion Chief and leaving the top of the salary range unchanged. This will occur prior to the additional base salary increase in Section 1 above.
Range Adjustment. Members shall advance one step upon completion of their probationary period.. Service at each step thereafter shall be on an annual basis until the eighth (8th) step which shall be for six (6) months, followed by six (6) months at the ninth (9th) step and final advancement to the tenth (10th) step. Advancement shall be according to this schedule providing performance merits such consideration and the employee has successfully achieved licensing conditions where applicable. Nothing in this section prohibits the Employer from placing a new employee at a step higher than step one, or advancing an employee at a faster than annual rate. In the event of an employee promotion which results in a pay range increase of one or more pay ranges, management will place that employee in the pay step in the new range that provides a minimum increase of 5 percent over their present rate. In the event that an employee wishes to take a voluntary demotion, management will place that employee in the step in the new range that is the least amount of rate reduction.
Range Adjustment. A one-time range adjustment increasing the annual rate of pay in all Steps (1 through 4) for the position of Fire Captain will be applied the first full pay period after July 1, 2018 in the amount of $1,845.00. The range adjustment will be applied before the July 2018 COLA.
Range Adjustment. A. The top of the salary range of Fire Division Chief shall be equal to and be maintained at approximately thirteen and seventy-five-hundredths (13.75) percent above the bottom of the salary range. Adjustments to the range, when required, shall be made within the pay period that the range drops below the percentage stated in this provision.
Range Adjustment. A. Fire Battalion Chief
1. The base salary of the classification of Fire Battalion Chief shall be at least seventeen and five-tenths percent (17.5%) higher than the base salary of the top step of the salary range for Fire Captain.
2. The top of the salary range of Fire Battalion Chief shall be at least twenty- seven and five-tenths (27.5%) percent above the top step of the salary range of Fire Captain. Adjustments to the range, when required, shall be made within the pay period that the range drops below the percentage stated in this provision.
