Common use of Range Clearance Clause in Contracts

Range Clearance. The recovery, collection, and on-range destruction of military munitions (e.g., UXO), munitions debris, and other range-related debris (e.g., targets) on operational ranges to maintain or enhance operational safety or to allow the continued use of the range for its intended purpose. The term "range clearance" does not include the on-range disposal or burial of UXO and MC, when the burial is not a result of normal use.
