Rate of Harvest and Extended Forest Rotations. Under the SHA, important changes to the forest management strategy and practices will occur that provide significant benefits to the spotted owl, its prey base and other resources. Rate of Harvest. Under the SHA, Applicants will be relieved of the disincentives to allow habitat to exist on their property and the desire to eliminate suitable owl habitat to avoid future regulatory burdens in Oregon and Washington. Without these pressures, the Applicants can lower their average forest age more gradually, over multiple decades, in a manner that will result in a desired age class distribution in the future. With the regulatory assurances provided by the SHA, the Applicants can proceed with this conversion in a more orderly, sustainable fashion as determined by market conditions and resource management decisions, not out of concern for future regulatory restrictions.

  • DATA USED FOR CALCULATIONS The calculations for payments under this Agreement shall be initially based upon the valuations that are placed upon all taxable property in the District, including the Applicant’s Qualified Property, by the Appraisal District in its annual certified tax roll submitted to the District for each Tax Year pursuant to TEXAS TAX CODE § 26.01 on or about July 25 of each year of this Agreement. Immediately upon receipt of the valuation information by the District, the District shall submit the valuation information to the Third Party selected and appointed under Section 4.3. The certified tax roll data shall form the basis of the calculation of any and all amounts due under this Agreement. All other data utilized by the Third Party to make the calculations contemplated by this Agreement shall be based upon the best available current estimates. The data utilized by the Third Party shall be adjusted from time to time by the Third Party to reflect actual amounts, subsequent adjustments by the Appraisal District to the District’s certified tax roll or any other changes in student counts, tax collections, or other data.

  • Sleeping Room Rate(s) A. The Contractor shall provide sleeping rooms to the Attendees at the following rate during the Program:

  • Temporary Credit for Unamortized Specified Road Construction Cost When, under B8.33, Contracting Officer orders a delay or interruption of Purchaser’s Operations for more than 30 days when scheduled operations would be occurring but for the order, the Contracting Officer shall credit the unamortized cost of Specified Roads to Purchaser’s Timber Sale Account, upon the written request of Purchaser or at the discretion of Contracting Officer. The amount credited to Purchaser shall be limited to stumpage paid above Base Rates. Any Specified Road construction cost credited to Purchaser pursuant to this Subsection may be refunded or transferred at the request of Purchaser. However, if Purchaser has outstanding debt owing the United States, Contracting Officer must apply the amount of credit that could be refunded to the debt owed in accordance with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, as amended. Upon written notice from Contracting Officer that the basis for the delay or interruption no longer exists, Purchaser shall pay for timber a per unit amount, in addition to Current Contract Rates, that is equal to the amount credited to Purchaser’s Timber Sale Account divided by 80 percent of the estimated remaining volume of the contract, until the full amount credited to Purchaser has been returned.

  • OFFSET CREDIT/COOPERATION This Contract has been entered into in direct support of LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x international offset programs.
