Common use of Ratification of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Ratification of the Agreement. (1) The Agreement is ratified. (2) Notwithstanding any other Act or law, and without limiting the effect of subsection (1) — (a) the Company shall be allowed to enter upon the Crown lands mentioned in paragraph (b) of clause 2 of the Agreement, to the extent and for the purposes provided in that paragraph; (b) the provisions of subclause (2) of clause 3 of the Agreement shall take effect. (3) The provisions of section 96 of the Public Works Xxx 0000, do not apply to any railway constructed pursuant to the Agreement. (4) The provisions of section 277(5) of the Mining Xxx 0000 2 do not apply to any renewal of the rights of occupancy granted pursuant to subclause (1) of clause 4 of the Agreement.
