Common use of Real Estate Brokerage Commission Clause in Contracts

Real Estate Brokerage Commission. Seller shall pay a real estate brokerage commission in the amount of $65,200 to Xxxx Xxxxxx upon the Close of Escrow. Except as provided in the preceding sentence, neither party is obligated to pay any real estate, brokerage or other commission or fee in connection with the purchase and sale of the Property. Each party hereby indemnifies, protects, defends (with legal counsel reasonably acceptable to the other party) and holds the other party free and harmless from and against any and all costs and liabilities, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, for causes of action or proceedings which may be instituted by any broker, agent or finder, licensed or otherwise, claiming through, under or by reason of the conduct of such party in connection with this transaction. 14.12
