Common use of Receive Grievances Clause in Contracts

Receive Grievances. Association Board Members may receive and discuss, but not solicit, complaints and grievances of peace officers on the premises and time of the City. Such time spent shall not interfere with the work and duties for the City of either the Association Board members or the peace officers. Only those Association Board members and the peace officer involved in a hearing, investigation or grievance shall be granted time off for all meetings without loss of pay or any accrued leave. Such meetings shall be set at a time mutually agreeable with the City and the Association.
