Group Grievances. Where there are group grievances in Agencies involving two (2) or more supervisors, such grievances shall be filed and processed in accordance with Step 2 of the grievance procedure. When a grievance involves employees in more than one (1) Agency, such grievance shall be filed and processed in accordance with Step 3 of this Article. Group Grievances. Should the District and/or the Union feel that the significant characteristics of a number of individual grievances or potential grievance are sufficiently alike, that it would be in the best interest of time to hear this group of grievances as one, it may do so under this procedure. Such consolidated grievances shall be carried through the procedure by one designated Grievant.

The CEO or designee will meet with the grievant and union representative and shall respond in writing within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date the Step 3 response was filed. Step 4 If the grievance is unresolved, the Union may provide written notice to the CEO or designee of its intent to arbitrate the grievance. This notice must be provided within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of the Step 3 response.
