Recognition, Association Rights, and Obligations. A. The Board recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining representative for all persons who are covered by this Agreement. This recognition is extended and this Agreement is entered into pursuant to K.S.A. 72-2218 et. seq.
B. All rights and privileges granted to the Association under the terms and provisions of this Agreement are for the exclusive use of the Association.
C. The Association shall have the right to post notices of activities and matters of Association concerns on a District bulletin board in each building as designated by the building Administrator.
D. The District will provide for voluntary payroll deductions for Association dues.
E. The Association will reimburse the District 0.025 cents per each side of the page for copies made on District copiers.
F. The Association shall have the use of the District e-mail service and Professional Employee mailboxes and mail for communication to the Professional Employee.
G. The Association has available a pool of two (2) non-chargeable leave days to use for official Association business, including but not limited to training, consultations, and IBB preparations. These non-chargeable leave days will not be charged to the individual Professional Employee using them. The Association will reimburse the District for full cost of the substitute(s) on those days. No more than two (2) Association representatives at a time will be out of the District on Association business.

F. The Association may establish an electronic bulletin board to communicate with all Professional Employees in the District. The Association shall have the use of the District e-mail service and Professional Employee mailboxes and mail for communication to the Professional Employee.
