Common use of Record Retention and Inspection Clause in Contracts

Record Retention and Inspection. Contracting Entity agrees that LACOE shall have access to and the right to examine, audit, excerpt, copy or transcribe any pertinent records pertaining to this Contract. All records shall be kept and maintained by Contracting Entity and made available to LACOE during the entire term of this Contract and for a period not less than five (5) years after final payment hereunder by LACOE.
