Common use of Recordation of Lease Clause in Contracts

Recordation of Lease. Tenant shall have the right to record a memorandum of this Lease upon written notice to Landlord. Upon either Tenant's or Landlord's request, the parties agree to execute a short form of this Lease for recording purposes containing such terms as the parties believe appropriate or desirable, the expense thereof to be borne by the party requesting such recording. If such a short form of this Lease is recorded, upon the termination of this Lease, Tenant shall execute, acknowledge, and deliver to Landlord an instrument in writing releasing and quitclaiming to Landlord all right, title and interest of Tenant in and to the Premises arising from this Lease or otherwise, all at the cost of Landlord.
