Common use of Recording of Conversations Clause in Contracts

Recording of Conversations. For compliance and monitoring purposes, Client authorizes each Coinbase Entity at its sole discretion to record conversations between such Coinbase Entity and Client or its Authorized Representatives relating to this Coinbase Prime Broker Agreement, the Prime Broker Account and the Prime Broker Services.

In the event a dispute arises between Client and a Coinbase entity, the Coinbase entity shall provide any available recordings to the Client upon request; provided that nothing herein shall obligate any Coinbase entity from making or keeping any records that it does not make or keep in the ordinary course of its business.

Client and its Authorized Representatives have no objection and hereby agree to such recording. Client acknowledges that such recordings will not be made available to it at any time, except to the extent required by law or legal process.

Client agrees that the Coinbase Entities may submit such recordings in evidence in any dispute, suit, action, or other proceeding.
