Common use of Red Tagged Vehicles Clause in Contracts

Red Tagged Vehicles. The OoA may, during normally scheduled monitoring visits, or, as a follow-up to a client complaint, inspect any vehicles used by CONTRACTOR to transport clients. If, in the opinion of the OoA, a vehicle does not meet OoA safety standards, it may be “red tagged.” A vehicle that has been “red tagged” shall be immediately removed from service. A “red tagged” vehicle may not be released for service until such time as the problems associated with it have been rectified by CONTRACTOR and verified by OoA.
