Common use of Reduction in Appropriations Clause in Contracts

Reduction in Appropriations. If the State Legislature reduces the appropriations to the Department or Division resulting directly or indirectly in a decrease in funding for goods and service that are subject to this Agreement the State may take any appropriate action, including but not limited to the following actions:  Post revised rates in the RateBook;  Cancel the Agreement;  Cancel the Agreement and re-solicit the requirements.
