Common use of Reduction of Compensation Clause in Contracts

Reduction of Compensation. If, after this Agreement is signed, anticipated local and/or state funding is reduced for any reason, or the City determines in its sole discretion that your performance is not satisfactory, then the City reserves the right upon written notice to you to reduce or modify the Maximum Compensation, the Committed Compensation, the time for performance and/or the number of unfilled participant slots. If local and/or state appropriations are reduced to such an extent that, in the sole discretion of the City, no funds will be available to compensate you under this Agreement, then the City will provide you notice of such occurrence.
