Referee Assignor. The Tournament Referee Assignor must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, be licensed as a US Soccer (USSF) Referee Assignor in Illinois, must have passed the required IYSA Background Search, submitted he Heads Up Concussion in Youth Sports Completion Certificate, submitted the current annual US Center for Safe Sport Training Completion Certificate, and is in good standing with Illinois Soccer Referee Committee (ISRC), IYSA, ISSA, USSF at the time of this Tournament. The Referee Assignor must ensure that any referee aged 18 or older has passed the required IYSA Background Search, submitted the Heads Up Concussion Completion Certificate and the current annual US Center for Safe Sport Training Completion Certificate. The Referee Assignor must only assign referees who are currently US Soccer licensed and are in good standing with the IYSA, ISSA, ISRC, USSF at the time of this Tournament. The use of “out of state” or foreign referees must be approved by the ISRC prior the tournament, as those referees must be in compliance with ISRC risk management policies and must be on good standing with the state referee committee with which they are registered. The Tournament Referee Assignor(s) must attend the annual IYSA Tournament Referee Assignors Meeting. It is highly recommended that the Tournament Director and the Tournament’s Referee Assignor not be the same person. The Tournament Referee Assignor must collect and maintain the IYSA Medical Release & Liability Waiver for all referees in the Tournament. The Tournament Referee Assignor shall abide by the Illinois and Federal Child Labor Laws.

If a tournament is cancelled for any other reason it will refund the team=s entire entry fee. The Tournament Referee Assignor shall abide Sanctioning Fee will not be refunded if this Tournament is canceled. Written notice of cancellation and/or date change must be submitted to the IYSA prior to the tournament start date. Player Insurance Coverage All teams that are registered and in good standing with the IYSA at the time of this Tournament are covered by the Illinois IYSA medical and Federal Child Labor Lawsliability policy. All non-IYSA teams/players, shall use their own insurance or they can register as a tournament team/player with the IYSA to obtain tournament insurance from the IYSA. IYSA insurance does not cover non-IYSA players/teams and the IYSA Tournament sanction does not apply to over-age and/or adult division participants.
