Common use of Registration of Agreement Clause in Contracts

Registration of Agreement. a) The Owner and the City hereby AGREE that this Agreement and the Schedules hereto shall be registered upon the title of the Land affected by this Agreement, such registration shall be at the expense of the Owner. The Owner acknowledges that the City, in addition to any other remedy it may have at law, shall also be entitled to enforce this Agreement in accordance with s. 442 of the Xxxxxxxxx Xxx, 0000. b) In the event that the Plan of Subdivision has not been registered within one (1) year from the date of this Agreement, the City may, at its option, on one (1) month’s notice to the Owner, declare this Agreement to be null and void, whereupon the Owner declares that he or she will not register the Plan of Subdivision or make any improvements upon the Land and the proposed Plan of Subdivision until a new Agreement has been executed by the parties.
